Week 11 NFL preview: Chiefs vs. Broncos

The best offense in the NFL faces the best defense when divisions rivals clash in Denver. Will the high-flying Broncos put up enough points? Or can Justin Houston and the Chiefs defense take advantage of a hobbled Peyton Manning? Matt Ufford and the Discount Yankee Jerseys crew preview the game and make their predictions.

The league’s top two teams play twice in the next three weeks, beginning with this Sunday’s mega-matchup. Surprisingly enough, none of the Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs’ combined 17 wins have come against teams that currently hold winning records. Nevertheless, this one should be good.

The latest round of the Roddy White-Richard Sherman feud went, um, rather decisively to Sherman. The ruins of the Falcons’ secondary are still smoldering after yet another awful week, and the Atlanta ground attack couldn’t muster anything against a previously vulnerable Seattle front. Throw in a toe injury to Tony Gonzalez, and it’s another ugly showing in the Dirty South.

Or you can just fire up Madden, fool around with the settings, and blast a 99-yard punt with Pat McAfee on your first try.

Mr. McAfee is the subject of this week’s BREAKING MADDEN for two primary reasons, both of which were previously documented in THIS WEEK IN GIFs. For most punters, a mis-handled snap spells absolute doom, but McAfee collected the ball, scrambled to elude a tackler, and managed Design Cheap Jerseys to pull off a stellar punt while on the run.

Second, McAfee introduced himself to a national television audience as a multi-dimensional threat by laying the wood on Broncos return man Trindon Holliday.
